This year’s latest biannual Caterbar Conference and Awards saw Cofresco Foodservice awarded the prestigious Member’s Recognition Award.
On Wednesday 5th June, Cottons Hotel at Knutsford opened its doors for the biannual Caterbar Conference and Awards. Established in 1986, the light equipment buying consortium, Caterbar hosted over 46 members for a day of networking with suppliers before its hotly anticipated awards dinner. Cofresco Foodservice had a lot to celebrate, awarded the Member’s Recognition Award in acknowledgement of the company’s hard work to remain open and honest with its customers, and work proactively to meet the needs of Caterbar’s members and the group itself.
Attending the event on behalf of Cofresco Foodservice and Wrapmaster® were Adrian Brown, Managing Director, and Business Development Manager (Northeast) Allan McKenzie.
During the presentation, Caterbar CEO Richard Agnew commented on the financial difficulties the industry has faced over the last two years, with price movements and various market changes, all leading to a challenging environment. Cofresco Foodservice’s award is a fantastic reflection of the team’s passion for the industry, excellent customer service and persistent hard work and cooperation.
Adrian Brown, Managing Director, Cofresco Foodservice, said upon receiving the award:
“We are honoured and delighted to have been recognised at this year’s awards. We thank Caterbar for their support and I would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated members of the Cofresco Foodservice team. This award really is about them; their passion for our wholesaler and customer partnerships enables us to deliver a first-class service, as well as provide the industry with equipment it can really rely on.”
