Q – Can I use Wrapmaster foodservice film in the microwave?
A – Yes, when cooking in a microwave do not wrap food directly in the film. For best results place over a microwave-safe dish or container folding back a corner to allow the steam to escape – do not puncture. Maximum temperature for microwave use is 212°F / 100°C. Do not use in conventional or combination ovens or microwave browning units.

Q – Can I use Wrapmaster foodservice film in the freezer?
A – Yes. It’s ideal for separating small items such as fish, chops, steaks, burgers, cakes etc. before overwrapping into storage bags or boxes, so they can be removed individually. It won’t cling very well, once it comes out of the freezer.

Q – Is Wrapmaster foodservice film safe to use?
A – Yes, our foodservice film is FDA compliant and safe to use. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this product out of reach of babies and small children.

Q – What is the difference between PVC and PE Film?
A – PVC is the film of choice for the majority of professional caterers as it has the best cling properties and is suitable for 95% of all food use. PE film lacks the cling properties of PVC foodservice film and is suitable for wrapping high fat foods such as lard, butter, cheese and fish.

Q – Can I use Wrapmaster foodservice foil in the oven and microwave?
A – Yes, but do not allow the foil to come into direct contact with a naked flame or electric elements. Always consult the owner’s manual of your microwave oven and heed the manufacturer’s recommendations for the use of foodservice foil. It can be safe to use small amounts of foodservice foil in a microwave oven.

Q – Can I use foodservice foil in the freezer?

Wrapmaster 3000 Cling Film Wrap

“I’ve been using the Wrapmaster products for years, they make everything faster and easier in a busy kitchen. When I joined Anglo American I asked my manager to switch from cardboard cutterboxes to the Wrapmaster dispenser. The fact that you can wash them, makes meeting health & safety, as well as hygiene rules that much easier, so we have a few dotted around the kitchen”

John Runacres - Sous Chef, Anglo American
